Mission
Verkeya Speaks Inc. is a New York City-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to healing and empowering communities. Through workshops, support groups, and panel discussions, we create opportunities for growth and transformation. Founded by a Black woman, our mission is to uplift and inspire the next generation of women of color in New York City by providing scholarships and resources to support their educational and personal journeys.

Meet Verkeya

Verkeya Holman is the founder and CEO of Verkeya Speaks, Inc., a 501(c)(3). Her organization provides a platform for people to share their experiences with hardships in life, such as her own experiences with infertility and Lupus.
But after almost 12 years, she wants to do more.
